BUILD Grants Webinar with East Coast Greenway

Jeff Olson is an architect, planner, and author who has been involved in greenways, open space, active living, and alternative mobility projects for more than 25 years.

Summer 2018 is a moment of opportunity for greenways to take a significant leap forward. The federal TIGER program (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery), now re-branded as BUILD (Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development), tripled to $1.5 billion this year. These funds can spur construction of many miles of greenway across the country. Proposals must be submitted by the July 19, 2018 deadline. Join East Coast Greenway Alliance staff and industry experts on Monday, June 18th from 2-3 p.m. EDT for a webinar on how to submit a strong application. Industry experts include Jeff Olson, RA, Principal, Alta Planning + Design and Chuck Flink, FASLA, PLA, Senior Advisor, Alta Planning + Design. Chuck Flink serves as the Chair of the East Coast Greenway Advisory board and Jeff Olson serves on the Advisory Board.
