Drawing from design guides produced by the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), NACTO-certified trainers will discuss how to:

  1. Design streets and intersections for all users (pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders and drivers)
  2. Integrate cycling and transit lanes into existing roadways
  3. Implement interim street design strategies
  4. Participants and trainers will work together to tackle real-world street design challenges and will share their solutions through group presentations and discussions
