I love moving through the built environment—especially when that movement is powered by my own body. When I opt-out of my car and experience an environment via trail, sidewalk, or bike lane, I understand that place better; I make connections that are richer; and I feel healthier. As a design and planning professional, I want to make these experiences more accessible to more people.
