“Growing up in a rural-suburban place, I was aware of the freedom a bicycle gave and the dangers of inadequate cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. This became a deep interest of mine after a high school classmate was involved in a fatal collision. I want the work I do to prevent that from happening and create streets that allow users to use alternate modes of travel.”
