Daniel is a landscape designer with a background in landscape architecture and environmental studies. He brings experience in spatial analysis, cartographic production, and graphic production. Daniel is passionate about creating places that are healthy and fun, and he believes that landscape architecture is uniquely positioned to positively impact community well-being.
“I love being outdoors! Which should be a lot easier than it is as a Los Angeles local. Our area might be known for its coastlines and weather, but safe spaces to move around can be hard to come by. Too often our outdoor spaces are crowded by cars, and lack basic amenities like shade or seating. As a designer, it's my goal to create equitable spaces that entice people out of their cars. Spaces where we can interact with one another, build community, and enjoy an active urban lifestyle.”
