Joel Ramirez

Pursuing the idea of legacy, Joel has been designing and producing landscapes for multiple types of work over his career. Working on irrigation, industrial design, mixed-use commercial, recreational spaces, and gaining experience in master-planned residential communities, Joel has collected a wide range of skills and information. His passion for design comes from considering the legacy of a project; he strives to make each project be effective and impactful enough to last multiple lifetimes. Joel’s proficiencies include planting and irrigation design, graphic and 3D visualization, construction documentation, and knowledge of local policies and ordinances.

“To me, pursuing Landscape Architecture has always been about the idea of legacy. The idea that spaces, connections, and infrastructures can be designed in a way that they last several lifetimes over. Being able to design efficient and comfortable spaces and systems so they remain in place for years is what excites me.”
