I've known since I was young, playing with Legos and designing cities, that I wanted to be an engineer. My passions evolved throughout college as my interest in transportation design grew. Now working at Alta, I count myself fortunate to be on a team with innovative problem solvers and the cutting edge of transportation design at our finger tips, so that we can deliver the best products possible.
Biography
Joe is a civil engineer with a specialty in traffic and transportation design. He has experience in intersection analyses, trip/parking generation studies, transit planning, cost analyses, parking lot design, and facility alignments. He finished his undergraduate education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May of 2015, is a certified Engineer in Training (EIT), and is journeying towards becoming a fully licensed Professional Engineer (PE). During his final two years at Rensselaer, he worked under a research professor investigating the influence of intelligent transportation systems on intersections. His experience as a construction inspector also gives him an insight on the importance of the constructability of designs. He is now ready and eager to embrace the industry and to apply his skills to the world of multi-modal design.
