Kelly Dunn

Kelly has over five years of experience in transportation planning, research, and data analysis. She came to Alta from a public transit agency, where she developed expertise in survey design and analysis, data visualization, and automating processes using code. She especially loves using data to understand users of transportation systems. She holds a Master’s in City & Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a Certificate in Statistical Analysis from the University of Washington.

“I began pursuing a career in transportation when I was living in New York and realized that I gave my friends transit advice for fun. Having been car-free since 2010, I want to make that choice more empowering no matter where you live. I love that transportation presents so many data-rich problems to solve as well as the chance to build a more just and equitable future.”
