Mike Sellinger

My passion is planning and designing places that are safe and enjoyable to get around on foot, by bike, or on transit. I believe that safe and affordable transportation options are essential to creating communities that are healthier, happier, and more equitable.

Biography

Mike joined Alta in 2014 and is an experienced transportation planner and researcher. He leads Alta’s Shared Micromobility and Economic Benefits Service Areas. His other main areas of work include bicycle and pedestrian master plans, Safe Routes to School planning, and research on non-motorized data collection. He has a BA in Economics and Politics from Brandeis University and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University.
