Crescent Communities' mission is to create live/work/play communities with mixed use and community amenities. Alta worked with Crescent Communities and the local mountain bike club, Tarheel Trailblazers, to develop a multi-layered mountain bike network on the future River District development in the Charlotte metro region. 

The River District, located on the Catawba River, will use 450 acres of allocated open space to provide recreational trails including mountain biking. Alta helped this vision come to life in by facilitating stakeholders and working with the team to recommend a network of 20 miles of trails, including trailheads and other ancillary facilities.
