Alta was selected by the City of Durham to study access to and mobility through central Durham and develop recommendations that consider all modes of transportation, including walking, biking, taking transit, and driving. Specifically, the Alta team will review existing community plans and planned projects, examine current conditions and forecast future transportation needs, evaluate and prioritize potential projects, and develop an implementation plan including potential funding sources.
