Sustainability and Climate Change Mitigation
We are committed to helping communities reduce greenhouse gas emissions and become more resilient to the impacts of climate change.
We acknowledge how climate change is impacting our communities and that our projects can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by making it easier and more enjoyable to choose greener transportation modes like walking, biking, and taking transit. As a firm that specializes in active transportation, we also enliven public spaces, from streetscapes to parks and trails. We incorporate green infrastructure wherever possible, from street trees that provide shade and cooling, to stormwater absorbing treatments and climate-adaptive plantings that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and clean and recharge water resources, as well as beautify communities.
