Doug Moore, PE

I grew up in the Pocono Mountains area of Pennsylvania and moved to Rocky Mount, NC at the start of high school. I studied civil engineering at NC State and upon graduation worked as a roadway design engineer in North Carolina’s research triangle region. During that time, I’ve worked on some really cool projects, completed a graduate certificate in engineering management at NC State, and got my PE license.

“Biking has been a throughline in my life from working as a mechanic in college to getting a personal e-bike a few years back for errands, groceries, movies at the local Alamo Drafthouse, and Hurricanes games at PNC, to most recently bike polo! I am very jazzed to merge my passion and profession.”
