Our people make the difference.

Hannah Marre, EIT

Hannah graduated from The University of Portland in 2011 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and has since worked at several local engineering firms doing a variety of project types, including right-of-way ADA retrofits, site design, stormwater masterplans and on-site stormwater treatment. At Alta, Hannah has focused on off-street trail design, primarily working on the LA River Path project, which will eventually serve millions and create a continuous multi-use pedestrian and bike path through the heart of Los Angeles connecting uses to Long Beach and Union Station. Alta has offered Hannah a unique opportunity to have a much larger, positive impact by designing infrastructure for active transportation beyond the occasional curb ramp improvement.

“I strive to design safe and practical infrastructure so people of all abilities can walk and ride outdoors with confidence and experience the joy of self-propulsion!”
