Jesús is a planner with a passion for collaborative design practices centered on lived-experiences and elevating community values. As a bike commuter who was born and raised in the Bay Area, Jesús seeks to improve the safety and reliability of active transportation options for all Bay Area residents and visitors. Prior to joining Alta, Jesús worked with bicycle and pedestrian programs at the City of Berkeley, and he is currently pursuing a masters degree in City Planning at UC Berkeley.
