Kassandra Ferrer

Kassandra is a multimodal transportation planner with a passion for data-driven visuals and making active transportation enjoyable & accessible. Prior to Alta, Kassandra was a GIS Analyst for a commercial real estate group and GIS Technician for a private consultation firm. As an alumna from Cal Poly Pomona’s Urban & Regional Planning program, Kassandra has worked with various local city municipalities to create real-life solutions to socioeconomic issues such as homelessness, pedestrian connectivity, walkability, etc. She brings experience in spatial analysis, cartographic production, and graphic production.

“My real love for biking began when I joined my high school's mountain biking team. Joining this team allowed me to make some of the best memories and friends in my life, and I still bike with a few of them to this day. I highly encourage my friends and family to choose walking, biking, or rolling over driving to gain a richer experience of the natural and built environment around them.”
