Kimberly Williams

Kimberly is a Senior Planning Associate with experience in active transportation, recreation, and conservation partnerships in the public and non-profit realm. She has extensive experience in trail and outdoor recreation planning and design. With 15+ years of experience, she leads highly visible public projects that drive public policy, and strategic direction for communities, governments and non-profits. She informs and influences decision makers and the public to implement projects that conserve and connect us to our natural world and a healthier and better built environment.

Her background in landscape architecture and environmental planning allows her to understand projects from large scale planning to detailed implementation. Kimberly previously worked at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as one of their first planners, and as Planning Division lead for another company. She has also served on greenway non-profit boards as well as municipal greenway committees.

“I love working with communities and clients to tackle major projects that seem daunting at first. It is so rewarding to see the germination of the project to the ribbon cutting, but perhaps the biggest reward is to see a project built and revel in the joy and health it gives to those using it. I truly love what I do.”
