“Switching from a four-wheeled commute to a two-wheeled one was lifechanging, improving my wellbeing and opening my eyes to the link between transportation, urban form, and livability. This change also sparked a passion for planning and a commitment to road safety. Today, I’m fortunate to share a bike commute with my daughter and to develop transportation networks that enable others to experience the practical benefits and fun of getting around or getting away car-free.”
