Nora Stoelting

Nora has a BA in Environmental Studies from Saint Michael’s College and a dual masters in Leadership for Sustainability Education (LSE) and Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from Portland State. She has several years of experience as a School Garden Coordinator in Portland prior to graduate school, and two years of experience coordinating education programs at the Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) prior to starting at Alta.

“In this complex and evolving world, I am passionate about creating new ways of relating to each other and to our environment. My path to urban planning is through environmental advocacy and noticing the many intersections environmentalism has with community, public space, transportation, leadership, etc. I am excited to dive into these intersections deeper through collaborating at Alta!”
