Sierra Rodriguez-Torres

Sierra is a planner with a background in active transportation and community engagement. She received her degree in the Pacific Northwest in Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Oregon. While in school, Sierra worked with Lane County’s Policy Division and the Association of Oregon Counties to secure funding and develop strategies for countywide transportation initiatives. She has also successfully obtained federal and state grants for transportation infrastructure projects when she worked at Eugene’s Public Works of Engineering Transportation Planning Department.

At Atla, Sierra has worked on developing neighborhood profiles in Washoe County, identifying key local destinations, regional connections, and infrastructure gaps to improve transportation networks. Her expertise includes public outreach, producing data-driven insights, and advocating for equitable access to transportation resources.
