Sylvia Pasquariello

Sylvia is a landscape designer in Alta’s Portland office with a background in designing for rural communities, affordable housing projects, parks, and streetscapes. She received a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with a minor in Sustainability. She believes in doing work that promotes health, greater connectivity, and well-being. Sylvia sees active transportation as an important tool to ensure that both people and the environment can thrive today and into the future with equity at the forefront.

“I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences for the communities I serve. Design quenches my thirst for curiosity and creativity because I am able to continually learn about the world around me. I love exploring places on foot or by bike and am inspired by the daily interactions, cultural ties, and memories that we all have to different spaces.”
