After helping Collier County, FL win a $13 million TIGER grant for a Complete Streets Initiative in Immokalee, Alta is working to design and build a connected system of sidewalks, bike boulevards, and transit access improvements that will enhance safety and mobility in the community.

Alta assisted the Collier County, FL MPO in the preparation of a winning $13M TIGER (now BUILD) grant for the Immokalee, FL Complete Streets project. As a sub to Jacobs and utilizing the USDOT grant guidelines, Alta led production of the grant narrative, the cost-benefit analysis, and grant graphics and layout. This work also included a safety analysis to determine the safety impacts of new sidewalks and streetlights. Alta developed a custom document layout, as well as maps and graphics to showcase the findings and benefits.

Alta is now helping the Town of Immokalee implement the secured grant funding by providing full designs for 5-miles of bike boulevards and concepts for intersection improvements.
