The Newton streetscape design project on West A Street, when complete, will create a multimodal connection between the new Justice Center and downtown, allowing people to walk or bicycle into downtown.

Alta is providing engineering services to the City of Newton for the West A Street streetscape design project. Design services include roadway re-paving, new ADA compliant sidewalks, bike lanes, signal upgrades, drainage and utility upgrades, and streetscape amenities. The project is funded through NCDOT and the design will meet all NCDOT and Federal standards.
