The San Joaquin Regional Transit District is exploring how to fully integrate bike share with their transit service to create a more complete transportation experience. Alta conducted a bike share study, including thorough opportunities, constraints analysis, and public input to develop recommendations for how bike share can serve the community and the transit agency.
Alta led the bike share study through both online and in-person public outreach to understand how bike share can serve people in Stockton. Based on results from the current conditions analysis, case studies of peer systems, and community outreach, Alta provided recommendations for all aspects of bike share and the next steps to implement a bike share system.
