Alta’s role on the Ashford-Dunwoody Commuter Trail team is to develop all conceptual bicycle and pedestrian facility design alternatives, intersection safety improvements, and cross sections, as well as prepare the landscape plans, develop signing and striping plans, and assist the prime consultant with facilitation of adjacent business outreach and public engagement. We are also providing design compliance review and oversight during design development. The project presents unique challenges due to the extensive existing utilities, limited right of way, topography, and adjacent land use.
