Alta led the update to the 2015 Five-Year Minnesota Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Strategic Plan. The planning process included engagement with the Minnesota SRTS Steering Committee, a Technical Advisory Committee, listening sessions with State Department representatives, and surveys, interviews, and workshops with SRTS practitioners from across the state. Alta worked closely with project partners to keep things moving in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and Shelter in Place ordinances, including successfully pivoting a 50 person in-person workshop to a virtual meeting with over 100 participants.
