Alta planned and launched a Vision Zero media and outreach campaign to help the City achieve its goal of zero traffic injuries and fatalities by 2027.

The effort was based on evidence, spoke to the most problematic traffic behaviors, reached high-priority audiences, and gained the best possible return on media buys and outreach actions. Alta designed engaging campaign collateral, which was adapted for multiple media outlets and hosted outreach events near the city’s High Injury Network.

In the summer of 2018, the “Our Safety is Homegrown” campaign engaged over 700 people at community events, meetings, festivals, and bike safety classes. In addition, the message is being spread by bus ads, online ads, and a social media campaign.
