This regional plan will assist member agencies with the development of tools and guidelines for identifying and prioritizing pedestrian improvements, while also expanding the historically bicycle-centric Countywide Non-Motorized Transportation Plan (NMTP) to include more robust pedestrian focused components.

25 priority points of interest, one for each jurisdiction in San Bernardino County, were selected and inventoried for specific pedestrian infrastructure and program recommendations. Alta led the information gathering and analysis of the existing conditions, which involved coordinating with member jurisdictions and engaging the community with surveys, along with verifying and analyzing existing statistics.
