Get ready to join the North American Bikeshare and Scootershare Association (NABSA) and your fellow shared micromobility colleagues this September in Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario. The 2023 NABSA Annual Conference is the leading global venue for shared micromobility and transportation leaders, practitioners, operators, and equipment providers to tackle important issues facing the industry.
Alta is excited to have Ezra Lipton and Mike Sellinger at the conference in Canada this year, as it is an opportunity to share our past and current projects including the Transportation Association of Canada nation-wide study of experiences with shared micromobility and a study developing a vision for bike share in Ottawa. Our past shared micromobility work in Canada includes the Bike Share Toronto Four-year Growth Plan, feasibility studies for the Region of Waterloo and Halifax Regional Municipality, and supporting the Region of Waterloo through their procurement process. Connect with Alta’s Ezra Lipton and Mike Sellinger at the following session:
Wednesday, September 20 | 10:45am – 12:00pm
This session will consider how micromobility systems are designed to make an impact. When deciding how to scale in order to improve outcomes, integration with transit, partial electrification, diversity of equipment, and user experience are key considerations. This enlightening session will showcase illustrative case studies, offering valuable insights into the art of scaling micromobility systems for maximum impact.
