Alta evaluated existing trails, developed a phasing plan for improvements, and provided recommendations on surface materials and amenities. The sensitive nature of the historic landscape was at the forefront of the planning process and informed these recommendations. The other main focus of the plan was to accommodate the wide range of trail experiences and uses, including walking, hiking, mountain biking, winter activities, environmental education and historical interpretation.
